Affordable coops

Hello,
I'm curious what yall recommend for an affordable coop that's safe from coyotes and eagles and hawks. Something budget friendly and easy to make in a way, we can do complicated but again mainly budget friendly any ideas and advice are welcome thank you.

Where in general are you located? Your climate can determine whether or not you can build an open air coop or not.

The most budget friendly coop IMO is that which you upcycle. An old shed, dog house, etc. a place to start and then enhance is least costly. Most costly is pre fab Amazon junk because you'll have to replace it.

Building your own or finding a shed and rebuilding is gonna be cheaper.
Prefab coops are a waste of money.
There are many chicken coop plans on BYC.

Very eggspensive.
I know i saved money building my own coop but to get started it costed some.

I build all my own coops... But I'm in construction aka 'lumber hoarder'
I'm always scouring craigslist for coops or old sheds to convert tho if they are solid and affordable. Anything salvageable is money....

I built my two coops as well.

Our garage is full of lumber so i didnt have to buy any besides the roost.

The feeder, waterer, auto door, windows, vents, and run were the only thing i spent money on.
I even got all the tin for free.
