Aggression of Cochin, Sebright, Japanese and Old English Game Bantam Roosters

Hey everybody,

I ordered 17 straight-run Cochin, Sebright, Japanese, Old English Game bantams a few weeks ago. Im not sure how many are roosters yet but my guess is, there will definitely be multiples.

My question is: Are those breeds pretty aggressive with one another if they live in the same pen? I would love to keep all of them if they would coexist.

I'm assuming that you are talking about a rooster flock. Give it a try, but have a 'Plan B' in mind in case problems arise. Some of the most aggressive roosters I have ever dealt with have been Sebrights, but that's just my experience.

Those particle breeds should not be aggressive.

aggressive in what configuration? OEG bantams can (can, but not always) Be VERY aggressive. I know cochins are SUPER sweet, Seabright roos can be VER MEAN also. not sure about Japanese.

I ordered some Red Cochin sexed bantams from Cackle a couple of years ago. I ended up with 2 hens and 2 roosters. One of the roosters was very aggressive. I tried him in with the LF and he got along with them but was so aggressive toward people he had to go. The remaining one is very nice.
