Would I have a better chance at green egg laying offspring with a brown egg laying hen and EE roo, or EE hen and roo with Brown egg genes??
I crossed a Black Australorp roo with Blue Ameraucana hens and all of the pullets I raised laid either blue/green or olive colored eggs. Most of them laid blue eggs. All of the chicks I raised from them took all of the characteristics of the Ameraucana.Would I have a better chance at green egg laying offspring with a brown egg laying hen and EE roo, or EE hen and roo with Brown egg genes??
