This chick is #51 of our order, an extra. I think I'll hold onto it and see how it feathers out. I just really wish I knew exactly what it was.

Maybe it's a splash wheaten? Or does he not do SW? You should have seen my buffs at hatch! I was like WTH?

I spoke with John this morning, he said he's positive the chick is a White Ameraucana.

A pure white, not one of the funny Wheaten-recessive Whites. I was kinda hoping it was a Lav... the other Lav chicks are so cute, they've grown on me too much. They all unfortunately are going to new homes today.

Anyways, problem solved!

One of my bi-polar lavs- they are the sweetest birds. When they aren't broody, that is!

I guess I am going to have to quit reading this thread... abandon it. You guys are KILLING me with all your pictures of your beautiful lavs, and all the talk about how sweet they are.

I didn't get mine, and I am still waiting on the rest. I haven't heard a word.

I decided since I asked him to fill my lav order with wheatens (since he didn't have enough good lavs) that I would just wait to get lavenders until next year.

Wait till next year.... I don't want to wait... Wait till next year.... I don't want to wait.....
