Real Ameraucanas come in solid Blue, Black, Splash, White, and Buff as well as Silver, Wheaten, Brown-Red, and Blue Wheaten. Lavender is another color, not accepted yet, but widely known and purebred.
Brown-Red is identical to the color you see on Black Copper Marans, but minus the extra mahogany red.
Buff is SOLID buff, not what a lot of people think their brown and black EE's are.
Silver is silver duckwing, however many people confuse some duckwing EE's with it. Silver Ameraucanas should not have any red, brown, or yellow in males, and should not have any blue color in females, plus they should have slate legs.
