I've researched vent sexing and realize It can be dangerous depending on thr size of the chick and how much experience you have doing it, but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to see/look for... ?
It can be dangerous that is correct. I take the chicks neck in between my pinky and index and using the other hand pull the feathers away from the vent and look for a little bump meaning it’s a male or nothing is a female they have to be between 1-3 days old for it to work

Would the little bump be on the bottom or top part of the Inside of the vent?
