Trouble is a busy gal. She's either broody, raising chicks, or just plain bossy. Teddy gets to sleep in the big coop (instead of the garage) because his crow still sounds like a hiccup. Therefore, he has access to ALL the hens all night & early morning. I put a few of Trouble's eggs under a broody hen, so we'll see. Yet, I'm doubtful Trouble would let any rooster near her. She's a very strong-willed hen. She even crows! Teddy's true girl friends (who spend the days in the tractor with him) are a serama, an OEG, 2 silkies, and a giant Buff Colombian English Orp.I love that pic. Have Teddy and Trouble met yet?
Story of the giant orp: Not sure what to do with that BIG orp, named Cupcake. She hatched a few days late and was weak, so I put her in with the bantams. They'll be almost 5 months & she still prefers to spend her time with the bantams. If I do not put her in the tractor, she'll sit right outside of it as hawk-bait (in the open sunshine w/o food & water).
