Are Belgium Bearded Barbu D'Anvers the same as D'Anvers? Is that first name just the full designation for the name?

Hay I just have a question since I guess you have hatched a few. What gender do you think this chick is? She is out of my barred pair. She is 2 and 1/2 weeks old.

There are a lot of names for the breed which is frustrating to me because I never know what to use. Barbu d’Anvers and Belgian Bearded d’Anvers work and so does Barbu d’Antwerp or Antwerp Belgian but Belgian Bearded Barbu d’Anvers doesn’t because Barbu means bearded so it would be redundant.

that's how they where listed on ebay. So did not know they where the same thing. I hope at lest 2 of the 4 eggs I got hatch.

All of my pullets are either sold or accounted for now. It’s amazing how high in demand this breed is. (People recognize d’Anver superiority.) Plus people ask for me specifically including folks from out of the state. I’m glad the quality of the birds is being recognized.

I kept 3 pullets and 3 cockerels though. Two of the cockerels are for breeding (main and backup) but one has decent show male coloring that isn’t good for pullet breeding that I want to use for showing displays.

Hard to tell from the side alone, but I agree with @Amer that stance looks male!
