My $0.02 is that many people instinctively know that something is up. Some people understand why. We are in the worst financial crisis EVER and it has only barely begun, and we have a federal government being run by foreign bankers via the Federal Reserve.

The simple fact is that people are buying ammo because they think that they might need it. Chew on that for a while.

Okay, I'll let you know ahead of time that I could be considered one of those "libertarian nut-jobs." I've done my research. Ammo is selling out because people are worried that Obama will do something to make it as inaccessible as possible. I will not get into any debates on the subject, since having been on another forum I know it is impossible to convince certain people. As for my opinion of gun control, here you go:

Armed we are citizens, unarmed we are subjects.

Not sure where I read that quote, but I'm with it.

DH and I check every week. We buy whatever we can. 90% of the time everything is sold out. A gun isn't much better than a rock if you can't load it.
