LOL she's so dainty...until you look at her abdomen. I wonder how many she'll have -- I bet she has 10 in there! Or more!

From the front you can hardly notice it, then you look around the side and its like whoa! puppies! She has taken to eating lots of grass, and worms, or any other bug she can find. Last night I took her for her short nightly walk (around the farm at 2am) and she even tried to eat a rock! (like a good 5" wide flat rock, she grabbed it and started trying to chew it, I took it away obviously, but come on! A rock? lol
She had a bit of her breakfast this morning and is now napping in the whelping pool. For whatever reason if we are on the couch she will not go in her pool, she lays on the floor by the couch, but if we are at the computer she will lay in the pool. I really hope my excersise pen comes today I ordered it last Thursday so it should be soon.

Temp this morning was 99.2, peed on floor last night, and it was very mucusy, DH said yesterday when I was at work she peed and had a long string of mucus come out. So I think we may be getting closer.

Mine would drop to 98 something, then go into labor within 24 hours after that.

Todays Update: Nothing much to say really, her temp last night was 99.5 this morning it was 99.3. So at least we are staying in the 99's that should make it easier to see the drop when it happens, I would still like it if she had them monday, so I am sure she won't. lol. We have been measuring around her belly every week. Last two weeks it was 24 and a half inches. Then yesterday it was 26"! WOW I wish I would of measured before we bred her but it I bet it wasn't even 20" then, maybe 18". Shes enjoying a sun bath right now.

Do you all give baths before labor? I usually take her to my moms for a shower as we don't have a bathtub and our shower head doesn't reach her in our tiny shower. Or could I just wash off her belly and lady bits with a washrag? Not that they are overly dirty but still, they could use a wash.

We gave a "soak" for our dogs "lady bits"

after she had her puppies. Not a complete bath but just enough to clean her off. Birthing is messy but I am sure you already know that!

Well here is the update for the last two days, It is bloody hot here! 94.1 in the shade! Annie is doing good, she is laying on the floor under my chair as i type this. Her temps for the last two days are as follows
6/4/11-11:22am- 99.3
-10:30pm- 99.7
6/5/11-10:30am-99.7
-11:30pm-99.9
6/6/11- 10:30am-99.2

The last temp was after being outside too, so I am going to take it again at 12:30 and see what it says, she is so miserable with all those puppies in there, and I don't think I will have a good nights sleep till after they are born, I was up every few hours last night because I keep dreaming she has them and I'm sleeping or at work. I really hope the scale comes today though I doubt it will. says estimated delivery date is the 8th. Still it could come early I would love to have it before the puppies!

She hasn't eaten much today but its so hot out I don't blame her
