Yes, I am confused I need some real time to sit down and read this fully. I use the BST area more like craigslist then ebay! I don't use ebay as I don't want to auction.

I am hoping for a decent enough spring to be able to sell several doz chicks and eggs. Most of the people I sell to, even through BYC are local. I don't want the hassel of shipping ect.!?

It seems setting in the style will limit any sales even more. Especially limited everyone to 3?! In a month!?

Why not 10 for the usual visitors and then unlimited for GF members?! You may be able to charge more for GF going that route! That's much more of a draw to get new GF.

Either way, until I get a good read of this, I don't think I'm too pleased... ebay already left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ooops! Just read that I CANNOT edit my auction, just my personal comments.

SOOO if I mess up, I have to live with it or cancel it and waste on of my auctions to re-list it correctly.

Am I getting this correct?

And if you hit the back button too many times and then submit, you re-list the same auction and lose one that way too.

I only make one post every few weeks BUT in that post are several different breeds ages and genders. So now I would have to make a different auction for each one-or group only including one sex or age at a time....that would be more than 10 when we have chicks especially.Or can we have 1 $3.00 auction with 8 breeds in it say Leghorn chicks(5) JG's(4) Barred Rocks (12) etc. and edit and remove as needed...That would be so nice and confusing.At a time in this Country when so many are struggling a place to advertise free keeps prices down...charging sellers raises prices and suddenly that backyard chicken is a posh pet that isn't affordable any longer.

That $3.00 chick is now $5.00 the BYC fee then those pay pal fees. Like all others the original fees will just keep going UP and UP and UP it's called Progress.
Maybe we need to make "ChickenList"

So, if I cancel a listing 5 mins before it ends, and it has no bids, it won't count against me?

Great question. We're still working out the details on "for trade" or "swap" items. We'll have a plan in place for these soon.
