In June we got a group of 14 chicks, CCL, BCM, and Splash Marans ranging from 4-8 weeks old from a local hatchery. They are now 12-16 weeks old. Since this one has a crest I don't think it is a BCM. Thoughts of breed and is it a cockerel? From what I read, if it is a BCM it has many negatives, white wing tip, crest, lack of copper.

Probably an Olive Egger pullet.

Pullet-- because of the size & color of the comb, and the lack of male-specific saddle feathers, at the stated age of 12-16 weeks.

Olive Egger-- because of the appearance (crest, comb, color, body shape). Crossing a Cream Legbar (blue egg gene, single comb, small crest) with a dark egg brown layer (such as Black Copper Marans) is a fairly common way to produce Olive Eggers, and the results tend to look quite a lot like your bird.

Thank you! I thought a pullet because of the comb, but the curling of the tail feathers had me thinking cockrel.
