Antibiotics for infection

Okay, let me try to explain it a different way. Have you ever taken ibuprofen?
Ibuprofen is sold in many strengths, 100 mg, 200 mg, 400 mg, 600 mg, and 800 mg. If a doctor tells you to take 800 mg, but you only have the 200 mg pills, how many do you take? Four, right?

Think of the Baytril you bought as 100 mg Baytril and the other 5% Baytril as 50 mg Baytril.
You with me so far?

A 5.5 pound hen needs 25 mg twice a day.
Using the 100 mg Baytril (10%), that is 1/4 ml (cc)
Using the 50 mg Baytril (5%), that is 1/2 ml (cc)

Does that make sense?
