Any Home Bakers Here?

IgorsMistress, There are a lot of factors to consider: temperature in
your house at the time, the mositure in the flour etc/ Usually 1 to 2 hours( I usually do one hour first rise) Second: usually 1 hour. Please note: Sometimes it can rise a bit and if you leave longer it will
"deflate". Follow the recipe and you will get the "feel" of the dough.
Yeast baking is a lot of trial, error, LEARNING. Once you got it...
you WILL KNOW. When I first started baking with yeast...there were a lot of MISTAKES. Glad to got it from KA. Regards, Aria

Recipe for carrot/walnut cupcakes with banana flour:

Whisk together:

1 1/2 cups grated carrot
1/2 cup grapeseed or sunflower oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract

In separate bowl combine:

3/4 cup banana flour (AP flour 1 cup)
1/2 cup cane sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup walnut pieces (more or less to preference)

Combine the two together. Bake in your choice of muffin tin or small cake pan. I used a petite muffin tin which is between regular and mini, 350 F for 9 minuets.

standard cream cheese frosting:

3 oz. cream cheese (I used approx. 4.5 oz for more cream cheese taste)
1/4 cup softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2.25 to 3+? cups powdered sugar

Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla until creamy. Add sifted powdered sugar until consistency is your preference.

enjoy!
