I am really interested in elderberry syrup/tinctures also, but thinking I will just grow the plant/bush myself.:D

Banana Oat Breakfast Cookies: Aria

Aria/Banana Oat Breakfast Cookies:
l large banana mashed
1/2 cup chunky Peanut Butter (Teddy no salt)
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup non-fat dry milk
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup dried fruit (cranberries,cherries or raisins) I used Cherries
Bowl 1: banana, peanut butter, honey, vanilla
Bowl 2: oats, flour, milk powder, cinnamon, baking soda
Combine Bowl 1 and Bowl 2 ....then add dried fruit
drop by tablespoon, press down with little water on spoon,
Bake 350 degree oven 14-16 minutes I made 15 cookies

Don’t forget to soak the raisins if using! Ya gotta soak the raisins. I was told once, and I was told proper! :lol:
 
They also benefit from the soaking. The method that I use is to place in a small saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, remove from heat, allow to cool and drain before adding to batter.

I cannot eat raisins too much iron can you say coma :gig BF loves raisin bread and I do make it for him :frow
