I like my ribs both with or without bbq sauce. Just depends on the day. When I plan to skip the sauce I season a little heavier try different things. Usually I'll use more brown sugar or honey.
We like to do ours with just a rub (no sugar of course) and serve them with sauce on the side. Phil, did you see the bbq sauce recipe @BBQJOE came up with for me? It was great!
