The house was a foreclosure and the guys that painted the inside used a taupe color in EVERY SINGLE ROOM. It's horrific lol. I love the look of wood but in the end it would just be too busy for me. I'm a minimalist.

Same here. Mine was a foreclosure and the entire house is (...I'm working on it) various shades of muddy taupe. Bleh. So far I've gotten the bedrooms, one bathroom and half the utility room. The half the W/D needed to go in...figured I'd finish it when I had time.

Yeah... haven't had the time. (.....or desire to)

When I was a kid and Dad got a job transfer, the house we moved into was gray...outside and all of the inside. Except the room my brother moved into, it was pink. That didn't last long!

Duckling wouldn’t let me eat eggs for at least a month after she assisted an egg. I couldn’t convince her that the eggs didn’t have chicks in them.

My kiddo is older and I'm still getting questioned on which eggs are being used for what and if they have baby chicks inside.

At five, she still gets confused because her especially special aunt keeps telling her all eggs have chicks. Meanwhile, she wants to eat fresh roosters on a daily basis.

Yeah I know the feeling lol. We moved in 10 years ago and painted the kitchen cabinets at that time. Now I'm doing the whole house except the bedrooms, starting with the kitchen. Gotta wait until it's cooler to do bedrooms.
