Any Home Bakers Here?

Walleye is my favorite. I like Northern also but it’s trickier to get all the bones out without wasting alot.
Walleye is my favorite as well. I learned to filet on northern... Let's just say my first few weren't as clean as one would like... But after a while I got the hang of it. For me the key was direction of the knife. If I went spine down I could ride along those paper thin bones, but if I went any other direction it could take hours with needle nose pliers.

btw, I loved snowbank lake and the ely area.

I am not a home baker currently, but someday I would like to become one.
Start now! Other than pizza dough and the occasional cake I never baked much. I started making sourdough bread in February.

I do like sushi more than I did. Not all of them have raw fish too
Eel is cooked. I don't know of any other common "fish" on sushi that is cooked. Of course there is veggie sushi and fruit sushi.

Never been to Ely. Duluth is the furthest I’ve been in MN.

Just before I took these from the oven I put it on broil for two minutes to brown so they look kind of weird.

I made blueberry muffins yesterday, here's the recipe I used.

I made this recipe before Multigrain Bread. Today I added 1/2 C of my sourdough starter and it needed more flour...about 3/4 cup and I made two loaves in my Antique Tins. The first recipe two 9 x 5 View attachment 2270038
The bread looks very good! Nice color and rise to it
