Any Home Bakers Here?

Good morning, everyone.

Cooking the turkey I took while hunting in April today. Also making giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, and radish asparagus salad.

No, it’s not thanksgiving. The event is my friend from Japan finally got to our house yesterday. We are giving her an American meal to celebrate.

I’ll try to post pictures and recipes later.

I fed it this morning and it looks so much happier now. I’m going to feed it tomorrow morning as well to help keep it perky.

@ronott1 How often do you think I should feed it? I’m still planning on keeping it in the fridge, I wouldn’t be able to feed it as often as needed if it were on the counter. Also, how should it be stored? As of now I have a dish towel over its top.

Once a week works well.

A jaw with an expansion top works best-- it lets the air out but not in. You can also use a jar with a pickle pipe lid.
