Thanks!

Not too bad for my 1st try at cheesecake. DH already has plans for further practice, lol.

Finally, here are the chocolate wafer cookies and the cheesecake pictures. Having laptop issues off/on, really hindering my primary mode of communication, lol.

Yummy! I'm sure it's amazing. Those cookies look yummy too. I bet they made a wonderful crust.

@Alice28 , thank you for the cheesecake recipe. I think it would be fun to do it again with an Oreo cookie crust. Hmm, the possibilities...

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also, if there is more then you can eat, cheesecake freezes well. When I make it, I cut it into slices, wrap individually in plastic wrap, then put in a ziplock bag to pull out a piece here and there. Just leave out on the counter an hour or two to thaw. If I don't freeze it, I will just eat cheesecake for every meal until it's gone! For real! Its disgusting

! I love cheesecakes. It was a special once a year thing growing up. And who can say no to chocolate?

I'm sure this answers why I only make it once or twice a year! Lol! I know my limits

Haven't been baking lately, kinda "under the weather " with a cold, and finally over it..

Mentioned doing sourdough waffles for tomorrow but DH wanted a breakfast casserole, so we have it ready for tomorrow am.

Someone on BYC ( wish I remembered who) gave me a recipe for a great one. But the amt. was too big for me to reduce. Found one that works for us - eggs, cheese, sausage & bread. Got it in fridge to cook tomorrow.

Guess this kinda qualifies for baking?

@sunflour , that definitely qualifies as baking! If it goes in the oven, it's baking.

Wondered where you were, hope you're feeling better!
