Any Home Bakers Here?

wow that is helpful and I am even more confused! ( I don't think I'd tell anyone they were eating a grunt) some of these terms must be regional.
 
Yeah, I thought a "grunt" was a military term...who knew? Not sure I want to eat I'd want to eat something that was grunting at me, lol. (Unless it looked delicious and came with ice cream.)

...and they are tasty.

... and they do grunt at you.,but we eat them anyway. -a lot like bacon I guess.

Checked out the site, but it does not define what I call my peach cobbler.

The flour,sugar, milk mixture goes in first, fruit on top, and when baked….the soft doughy crust moves to the top.

Now what would y'all call that?
That's what I call cobbler.
