Does anyone else do casseroles? Or is that just Utah?

I do! Usually they are called whatevertheheckisinthefridgecuzimfeelinglazy.

One of my best concoctions was called "bird chop pasta sauce". I'd made some bird chop for my birds and used some to make some pasta sauce. It was delicious. Unfortunately, because I was just throwing veges in the food processor, I didn't have any proportions to recreate the combo.

I call them hot dishes - native Minnesotan here. Same thing as a casserole. In Texas some call them a covered dish.

Where I grew up, they're called casserole. And if you take one to a luncheon, it's called a covered dish, lol.

Wow guys! I've been seeing some pretty amazing recipes and breads and other tasty delectables here lately! It makes me itchin to get back to baking! :drool
