I baked german chocolate cake yesterday for may DDs 18th birthday. Today she is baking a perfectly chocolate cake with reapberry frosting.

I need to make an espresso now to get all that cake eaten!

:barnie I hope I do not get too fat from all of the sweets....:celebrate

Coconut Pecan Frosting Recipe #140466
Top a chocolate cake with this rich German frosting! Posted for tour 2005 from mikibone.com

15 min 5 min prep

1 (12ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
7 ounces flaked coconut, about 2 2/3 cups
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

  1. Mix milk, sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla in a large saucepan. Cook and stir on medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans. Cool to room temperature and of spreading consistency.

alright both my sourdoughs have been fed and watered like a good plant did the Costco run will keep us going till my BF gets is ss mid month
