So was given a recipe BF found yesterday said I would make it it is called
Basic Bulgogi
1/4 pear, grated
1 garlic clove, grated
2 tbsp soy
1 tbsp hot pepper flakes or 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp toasted sesame
2 tbsp vegetable oil divided
Kosher salt
sliced scallions for serving

Combine the pear, garlic, soy, red pepper, ginger, sugar and sesame oil in a large pastic bag or medium bowl. slice meat into very thin strips. Add to marinade swish to be surer the meat is covered let sit at room temp 30 minutes up to 8 hours.
Heat 1 tbs vegetable oil in large skillet. Remove half the meat from the marinade
place in skillet sprinkle with salt cook, toss the meat and continue to cook till crisp at the edges transfer to a plate cook rest of the meat.
Served with sliced scallions

1 pound boneless pork loin, trimmed hanger steak, boneless short rib, or skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs

My mother went to South Korea for a church mission a long time ago. She knows how to make authentic bulgogi. I'll find her recipe for you later.
 
I bought new cookie sheets today. They are as big as my oven.
