Classic Southern Pound Cake - (southernliving.com) I spent a good while looking for a pound cake recipe before I finally had the nerve to make this one. I had never separated yolks or whites before, but learned to for this and have no regrets. I found, however, that the key for me was to wait for the cake and pan to completely cool before removing otherwise it would break apart. It recommends 15 minutes on a wire rack, but even with a brand new bundt pan it fell apart after this short amount of time. I found the key was a few hours of cooling, when the pan was not hot to the touch, and it held together. Everyone who has tasted this recipe over the years at holidays or birthdays when I've made it can't get enough. Cold glass of milk pairs well with it!

Copycat Panera® Broccoli Cheddar Soup - (allrecipes.com) Need a recipe that will give you a good amount of leftovers after feeding four people? Pair this with some homemade bread for a nice hot meal on a cold day. I love Panera, but it's been years since I've last been, and making this recipe recreates one of my favorite things to order there. I've made this quite a few times and love it.

Oven-Roasted Asparagus - (allrecipes.com) I can't even count how many times I have made this recipe! It goes with steak, burgers, grilled chicken, you name it. I usually double the recipe for four people. The key is using a little baggie or bowl to toss the asparagus and thoroughly coat it with oil before adding the parmesan, salt/pepper, etc.

I’m trying to decide what to make for watching the game. So far I’ve made a pile of corn chips. Some were still in the oven, some in the air fryer, some on the stove, and some:oops: in my stomach.
