Any Home Bakers Here?

my grandmother was an "Out of MY kitchen" cook
My aunt's (married my Dad's brother) grandmother (in Spain) was the "OUT of my kitchen cook". My grandmother had to teach my aunt how to cook after the wedding and move to So. Cal. Not sure how my aunt's mother managed to learn to cook when her mother died. But she did survive ... to the age of 96 by which time her daughter was doing the cooking.

My grandmother taught me how to cook on a wood cook stove.

I burned my mid belly twice I guess that is learning the hard way.

My mother was not a very good cook.

My mom wasn't a very good cook either. Makes me kind of glad she didn't teach me.

On the other hand, my grandma was a wonderful baker...she's the one that inspired me to learn. And I still think about her every time I bake something.
