I make their regular bread frequently (it's DH's favorite) so it will be fun to see how their Challah turns out. They use this dough for pecan nut rolls, that's what I'm going to (try) to do with it.
I actually use a different recipe now that is easier for me. I did not recommend it to you because it probably has too much shortening for your tastes. The recipe you now have is an excellent recipe that always got compliments when I used it.I HAVE YOUR PIE CRUST recipe...and I am grateful.

The crust recipe that I use to make a two crust pie leaves enough extra dough to make an apple dumpling or a one crust pie. If I had enough dough left over, I would have made a whole peach pie.
There is only one of me. I have developed recipes for one person but when it comes to pie, I want the whole pie.
