Any Home Bakers Here?

Aw thanks!
I was the head baker for our family business before I got married.
Now I mostly bake for church and my kids, or weddings for friends/family.
Well, I think my first attempt at clotted cream was a mixed success/failure. It was you that posted the recipe, wasn't it? (I've slept since then!) My guess is that my crockpot cooks too high. What I got was a toasted/ scorched slab on top, not very appetizing at all. However, the cream underneath is very interesting and I really like it. I can't stop sneaking sips of it, lol! I used it as the liquid in my scones, which I finally made today - they are in the oven right now, in fact. I couldn't make them earlier bc I was out of flour. My GirlChild makes chocolate chip cookies frequently and didn't add flour to the grocery list. 🙄 Will post a pic of the scones when they come out. Thank you for the clotted cream recipe!

I'm so sorry to hear that the cream didn't work out, if its any consolation my first ever attempt was also not good. 😄
I have another recipe for the oven that is pretty easy, and a "cheat" recipe that requires no cooking, so its not authentic clotted cream but my British friend says she can't tell the difference.
