I got a better picture. I just needed a different eyepiece.

So far, I am pleasantly surprised at how this telescope performs.

Anyway, I’ve got to figure out how long to cook the duck. I’ve got to weigh it and calculate how much time it will take to cook.

Merry Christmas, Bakers! It's a rainy chilly day in southern Alabama but we are in the spirit. I'm making more bread because we ate all I had made. Nobody went away from the table hungry!

This is not a duck I took while hunting. This is a store-bought duck. It weighed in at 5 pounds 8.2 ounces.

One of the best ducks I ever had.

Another successful turkey dinner is in the books. Lots (LOTS!) of left overs! Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and some stuffing. Hubby doesn't care much for stuffing, so it's all for me, probably. I can deal with that!

Jared, it's beautiful, but I'm puzzled by what I'm seeing. Why does your duck appear to have four legs?

Also, can't wait to see pics of the Orion Nebula! Always been my favorite! That is a fine piece of equipment you have there!
