Temperature 30. NO SNOW. Forecast.....Unsettled. Weather here is MUCH DIFFERENT than usual??????? Rain, Snow, Combo???? Coming????

The same Thing is happening in Florida.

The temperatures have been in the low range for quite a long period of time.

I have seen this happen inside of a pumpkin too!

Same about the pumpkins and also inside of tomatoes.

are having the WORST weather this year. They spend the Winters in Florida.

Seeds as they came out of a Big Moose pumpkin.

Seeds sprout inside the fruit in the wild all the time. That's how nature reproduces and why we find "volunteer" vegetable plants in the garden.

I had something really weird happen while I was making a California sushi roll.

I was cutting an avocado, getting the pit out. The avocado was really mushy and over ripe. When I got the pit out, this is the first thing I saw.

The avocado pit appears to have germinated on its own inside the avocado. I have never seen this happen.

It might make a good bonsai specimen.

I suggest you plant it. In a pot on your windowsill. I know you like to experiment.
And since we are talking experimenting,,, get another pit from a less ripe avocado, and plant alongside in same pot.
