Any Home Bakers Here?

The mystery dessert was canceled due to someone eating my applesauce, and tossing the piece of paper.
Today, I woke, and peeled a bag of apples while drinking coffee. The dog kept begging to play with the “balls” I was putting on the table while the guinea pigs wheeked for the peels.
I made; apple cinnamon rolls, diced cinnamon apples, apple juice, apple syrup, apple sauce, and apple jelly. :th

I kicked Covid’s you-know-what and I am feeling a lot better, so I am making Farmhouse Cheddar.

I figured I would show pictures of the process before it goes in the cheese press.

I don’t call this a failure, I call this a learning experience.

The curds did not properly knit together in the press. According to the troubleshooting guide, I’ve narrowed it down to either the brand of milk I used or stirring too much while heating after ripening.

Either way, I can’t wax it.

Next time I’m gonna try doing things a little differently, including the brand of milk.
