Any Home Bakers Here?

They are pb cc. They are poofier, but I am told they taste the same.
Adding baking powder to a recipe that calls for baking soda is ok. Adding soda to a recipe that calls for baking powder can cause issues since baking soda needs acid to activate-- there will be little rise and the flavor will be off since soda tastes bad when baked and acid has not neutralized that taste.

Poofy cookies can be good too!

The Macarons I make for my kids lunches. The shape actually happened because I couldn’t find my regular piping tips and only could find the stars. My kids ended up preferring the star macarons.

Almost got my first dozen eggs from the chickens!

The austra white, the two golden sex links, one of the buff Orpingtons and I THINK one of the barred Plymouth rocks are laying eggs now.

I think I’ll make a lot of quiches on October 5-6, that’s my churches General Conference.

Be grateful....eggs around here are $4.00 a dozen. I MISS
