Hi trying to sort out if the Australorp x are boys and what breed the big rooster with the gold neck may be. they are all around 16 weeks old. i have seen the austras face off eachother and flair their neck feathers but thats all .Any ideas appreciated.cheers

Yeah, it just helps keep spammers from posting. Just reply to this, go post a few times elsewhere--introductions, things like that, and they you should be able to pop pictures up.

I think you can post photos before the ten post if you use image tags and a photo hosting site.

Yeh honestly i will try a few more times but if its that much trouble il join somewhere else where life is easyer. makes no sense to me .

Cockerel is looking at camera. Pullet is sleeping. Age approx 3-4 weeks (I cant remember)



Cockerel about 6 weeks






Here you can tell a difference. The cockerel has bigger comb and wattles than the pullet next to him




In this photo you can see 2 week old (Approx age) starting to develop more comb than the pullet next to him





At five months you can definitely see the difference in sexes.
