ThanksI haven't tried it yet, but some people get those balls that you can fill with treats. I've seen them for sale at TSC.
What a great idea & question to ask! It may seem funny but mine chase a laser pointer thinking its a bug flying around. VERY good exercise & entertaining too! I do throw in some meal worms as treats for their efforts. Thanks

I used to put a flake of alfalfa hay in a rack. The alfalfa is good for them and they spent a lot of time pecking at it. Kept them busy and out of mischief.hey y’all my chickens are getting so tired of the winter and I wanted to know if you guys have any easy ideas for some chicken “toy” ideas to reduce their boredom?
would like to know more about your process for this...sounds fun...how do you get them to ring the bell initially? Our girls like to peck at veggies BUT, we've recently found a fun way to engage them by clicker training them to ring a bell and other things. I picked up a cheap service bell at the dollar store, and they enjoy being able to make it ring, knowing a treat comes after!
