Any way --I was told this evening that a rooster that had frost bite like that was now steril!!!????? Could this be at all True!!?? I don't think so.

Thanks

The pain from moderate/severe frostbite can cause a rooster to be sterile for a short time. Once it is healed, he will start doing the job right again. This is the same with any injury.

dosent make sense...if hes pain free enough to do the deed..hes not going to be sterile from pain. thats kinda like saying a man gets sterile if he wacks his finger too hard or something..its just not true..

that what I am saying... kinda... if all you had to do is dubb them to make them sterile why would you bother going to all the work to caponize them?
