Any Siberian husky owners?

Spot really wants a spitz :p
if she? he? wasn't determined to have a dog that is stubborn and tricky to train and also a spitz, I long ago would have suggested this absolutely fabulous plan:

not for mushing, tho, just joring like this.

berners have admittedly less stamina, though, and are probably better for pulling heavier loads shorter distances

luckily, this is all irrelevant, because they are fabulous
thank you for coming to my TED talk

I had a husky for 14 years, a rescue. He was just fine with my cats, after my siamese put a claw in him. Other cats outside, however, were fun to chase. He never caught one, but I dont think it would have been pretty.
I think it depends on training and personality.
He was the best dog ive ever had.

I'm sure it does depend on individual dog temperament, and also to some degree on training.... But my experience with huskies and small animals hasn't been good. We had one kill 7 chickens in under 10 minutes. I locked her in the basement while we found her owner, and she was perfectly sweet with people and with my dog. Just had an incredibly strong prey drive. When I talked to the owner, I found out she had previously killed housecats.
