Anybody else crazy about planting flowers and gardens ???

I bought one of those things at walmart for $10 in their "As seen on TV" stuff, but haven't even opened it yet.

Good plan! Yeah, I diddnt lok at your location before i wrote that, i am sure you do! I really dont need to hand up tomatoes, we have a big garden, but I did think it would be neat to have upside down vinin flowers, like Nasturtiums.

Ok, lets not talk about wind please. My property is a small valley and it channels the wind from West to East.

I know someone that uses 5 gal buckets to grow tomatos in. She says it works better than in ground. I imagine it would all nurtrianets would be right there and not spreading out in surrounding soil. Of ocourse one has to water a bit more but at least you would not waste ferilizer since plant would be getting it all.

Anyone have the secret to grow sweet bell peppers? Last year our seed did nothing then we bought plants and they did not produce fruit. we planted them high up so they would not get water logged. Our veggi garden slopes down. We planted them with chillies and the chillies did OK. I just can not figure out why the sweet bells did nothing.

Any suggestions?
