Anybody have chicks shipping Monday August 27?

I got a call from the post office on the way to work and turned around and picked our girls up. The were chirping like crazy on the way home. As soon as I got them in the brooder they huddled under the heat lamp. Both of the White Rocks started exploring while the others stayed huddled together for a while. They're all eating and drinking well and seem to be doing fine. I need to buy a thermometer though to check the temp under the lamp.

How cute Ryeguy, glad to hear they are all doing well. Our weak one is still struggling but seems to have picked up a tiny bit more strength, we are keeping our fingers crossed for her, she has such beautiful markings I'd love to watch her grow.

My two are settling in well and the other 14 that made it through shipping are at their new homes. One RIR was doa so I have to call Meyer about her. Another leghorn was looking really droopy so I gave her sugar water and she perked up. My sultan is energetic and ridiculous, and my Meyer Meal Maker chick that I got with the order was also a leghorn, so I kept her and my sultan. The leghorn worries me a little but the sultan is a little firecracker. Pictures soon!

I couldn't take it anymore so I stayed off here all afternoon hoping you guys would get your chicks! I am so happy Mr. postman came through. Sorry about the losses. Now I don't feel like I am bragging about having my chicks! Good luck everyone keep them warm and draft free! First thing I did even before going potty was check on the babies! All 5 still alive and very active!

Glad everyone's are arriving! Mine are spending the night at our local post office. They came in on the evening mail truck after hours and I wasn't able to get an answer at the post office when I saw the tracking info around 8pm. So, I'll be there bright and early tomorrow knocking on their door! The food and water are set up for them and I turned on the Ecoglow so it will be nice and warm for them in the am. I'm sure I won't sleep much tonight!

I WAS suppose to get mine today.......but they are sleeping somewhere in a box scared! I hope they will be ok!! Mine are coming from MyPet chicken too!! I'm soooo excited I cannot wait! Hope we get ours tomorrow!!! Good luck with your baby chicks!

Hang in there I know it is hard. I had to take a sleeping pill Sunday night before we went and picked mine up. My husband is always ready before me to go out the door but not Monday he wasn't! I was ready and waiting on him!

I havent even had my chicks for 24 hrs but they all have names.
