Anybody setting eggs this weekend? (4-25-15)

Well I have good news, I got a better look at the eggs later in the day and there are still 8!
I plan to candle next weekend, but I've never done it before so I won't really know what I'm looking at.

One of my chicken eggs is pipped but the humidity was at 15%. Will that effect the hatch? I added more water. And I heard the egg peep. Hoping it didn't as they are my last chance to keep my boys line going. As for my goose eggs I so far had two eggs quit. Out of 9.

Hopefully not there is no way to tell for sure. You could try adding sponges to your incubator for more humidity. The more surface area of water you can get the higher the humidity. Good luck

I added water and it went to 70% which seems to high now.

No 70% is fine for hatching no need to worry. Most people shoot for at least 65% many 75% plus. I've had mine hit 90% plus when a few chicks hatch all at once.

I set 24 eggs of several varieties and some mutt chicks on the 24th. I just hatched one of four of my turkey eggs and got this beauty! loving her!! she is such a show off. I hope she is a she.
