Anyone want to lose some weight too? So I'm not starvin' by myself?

Well I haven't lost or gained today. So, I'm happy considering I didn't exercise on Tuesday or Wednesday. I did get my workout in before work today though.

I am also seriously considering taking a break from trying to start a family. I just did my 6th or 7th round of Clomid and though it did its job, I did not conceive this cycle. I want to stop the fertility treatments and focus on losing weight instead. I just don't feel like I can handle the emotional roller coaster for the time being. At least this is something I can do and have a little something to show for it. Losing weight is also very important for me because I have PCOS.

Gave the shin splints a rest today and cleaned the barn instead of walking.

The eating well is going much better than I expected. I am not hungry all of the time and meals fill me up.

Finally bought a scale and have lost 3 lbs since Monday the 4th. I am pretty happy.

I think that we should track how much weight we lose and at the end of each month, send me that number and I will post how many pounds that we have all lost cumulatively.
At the end of the year we can see how much BYCers have lost all together.

What do you think?

agreed with pampered! Good loss!
Sounds like a great idea! I'd be in for that!
Gald to hear the splints are feeling better today!

Terrielacy... bless you girl! I could not each jello if my life depended on it! IDK if it's from working in the hospital or what but just the thought of eating jello makes me wanna thow up a little bit! Lol maybe that's all I need to do to lose weight- eat jello! Ha ha My mem used to love it, always had it in her fridge as a dessert bc she was diabetic and it was a good snack for her that somewhat satisfied her ice cream craving. Wish it worked for me! Ice cream is my weakness!!! I couldnt live without it if I wanted to! Luckily I'm not picky about brand or kind and do just fine with frozen yogurt or sugar free or whatever and don't need a lot. The problem comes when I get a pb and ice cream craving...then adding the pb to the ice cream makes it SOOOO unhealthy but sometimes especially hormonally I just HAVE to have it! ughhh to be rid of those cravings!!!

I have an idea why you have such strong cravings, and its easy to cure it naturally.

As to the jello thing. Its much better to eat the sugary jello then it is to eat the sugar free. At least the sugar is just refinde sugar cane, versus the fake chemical sugar that works as a neurotoxin.

Paula Jo, how is that? I'd be up for it! I crave peanut butter so often and it would be fine if it wasn't so fatty!

As far as the jello I wasnt really talking about the sugar content or anything I just basically was saying I couldnt eat it if I had to! The thought of it makes me ill! Probably because I see so many patients eat it and bring it right back up (sorry for the neg image)

Peanut butter is extremely high in Phytic acid. About the same as unfermented soy has in it. Far more then any other grain.
Read back in this thread to find my explanation of phytic acid.
It leaches the body of minerals and causes tooth decay.
The fat is nothing to worry about. The body utilizes real fat that comes from real food properly.
Its the fake processed fats the should be avoided at all cost. Vege oils and shortening, and anything that says hydrogenated.
Having a craving is a sign that you are very depleted in something.
On top of that, the peanut butter is causing a depletion in your bone density and in the integrity of your teeth.
It is blocking absorption of minerals taht you are consuming, assuming are being absorbed well.

Anytime the body has an extreme craving, there is a very good reason for it, and it should be addressed, because that craving is telling you that your body is starving for something important.

For example, I craved bread/flour products most of my life.
Once I began to understand what cravings were, and I stopped consuming all gluten containing grains (even properly prepared ones cause issue for me, as I have found I have Celiacs) my body began to recover, and I no longer had the intense physical cravings.
Now, I still have emotional cravings for bread, but that is a horse of another color

Now remember, I am not a dr, but I have done extensive research into real foods, and the affect on the body that fake foods has.
You would be shocked at what scientists will not tell you, all because of who pays them.
I am part of a fast growing group that is teaching about real food, why you need it, and how to prepare it.
I partake in www.realfoodmedia.com as much I can.

If you are craving a so called fatty food, then your body is crying out for real fat.
Every cell in the body is made up of 50% saturated fat. The brain lives off of saturated fat.
And, you cannot get fat from it either. It is impossible.
Its carbs and refined and fake foods that make one fat. Ditch all of those.
Ditch the peanut butter, unless you can make your own that is properly prepared (soak nuts for 12 hours in salt water, dehydrate at 120 degrees, then grind your own butter).
And read Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by Weston A Price.
Do the research yourself. Forget everything that modern medicine and nutrition classes has taught you.
Start eating real food only, with good portions of real fats, such as butter, raw if you can get it, coconut oil and real unhydrogenated lard.

Your cravings will disapear very quickly.
If you have cellulite, it will slowly disapear,a nd your face will smooth out, and yoru skin will begin to glow like it did when you were a child.
I have watched it happen to myself, and to everyone else that goes down the real foods path.

I wish i could say I have worked out this week, but I am TOO BUSY!!! I love helping others, but running 2 households is HARD!! My best friend that was in a wreck, has needed me to take and pick up her 2 kids from school..2 seperate schools, run errands, pay bills, and cook supper for them. I took her to get stitches and staples out this morning and she has a touch of pneumonia now too..poor woman!! Then her mom had breast cancer surgery today and we went there, picked up meds, ran errands, and I didn't even get home in time to cook, barely got the kids in time! Thank God DH is helping me with homeschooling/testing the girls this week! As soon as we got home.....a dog killed 2 of her ducks, so we(I) dug a mass grave this afternoon

! This is the 3rd day I have not been home more than an hour ALL DAY, so no time to work out! I am so tired...I'm skipping the workout again, probably won't lose anything this week...other than my mind

Glad to see everyone else is doing SO GREAT though!!! That's awesome! I'll be back on track next week I hope!!
