Anyone want to lose some weight too? So I'm not starvin' by myself?

I am a bakespace.com fan for recipes myself, but I'm bias... I write articles for their blog:

click on gardening, I'm Shannon.
Goto The main page and you can type in the recipe search for BiscottiQueen and you'll find my recipes... those most aren't healthy! LOL

A woman from my school does catering from her home. We tried her stuff for the first time last night. She made Lebanese food, turkey burgers and a rice and lentil pilaf, with sides of yogurt stuff and whole wheat pitas. It was wonderful! Cheaper than a meal out, and it took me about 10 minutes to get dinner ready. This was great for a night when one kid had to be somewhere at 6 and another had to be someplace else at 6:30. She only does it on Fridays, but I may buy and freeze some. Real food, real ingredients, and not made by me. Sometime cooking is such a grind!

I'm slowly losing weight. I think it might be 4 or 5 pounds total by weigh in day. I'll just be back to where I started in December. I just had a wonderful grapefruit for breakfast.

Well, today was my latest deadline. I was less than half a pound from meeting it. Argh!

Tried doing a little Tae Bo yesterday for something different. I was bored out of my mind. It did turn out to be a decent warm up for the normal routine but I won't be doing it again. I also checked out a Pilates tape from the library. I'll try that some time this weekend.

I still haven't been down in the basement to arrange my tv room so I can exercise while watching tv during the week. Maybe I'll do that today.

mom'sfolly :

Evil little girls came to my house, peddling cookies. How can they do that to me? Sweet little faces, asking me to buy their cookies. I bought three boxes, now I just have to keep my mitts off them.......evil freaking girls scouts.

Whoa ... Give those boxes away immediately...

I am facing the fact that I HATE excercise. Sad but true. Then, despite my hatred, I have to do it anyways. But at least I'm not trying to convince myself that "this is fun".

I did 30 minutes of yoga yesterday for the first time in months. THAT felt pretty good. I don't consider that cardio, though.

After getting slammed off course with my friend's wreck and taking her kids to school, not getting enough sleep, and not being home enough to eat right, eating out taking her to doctor visits etc.....I am BACK UP TO 175!!

Next week I will FINALLY be back to dieting like I should have been the last 2 weeks. I guess it coulda been worse...but crud happens. My friend is back to close enough to normal to get by. Now I gotta get ME back on track! If I can just quit stressing out over stupid bills I might be a little lighter next week
