I completely understand about being sensitive about your stats hun. You post your stats or not, its totally up to you. It wasn't easy for me to post that I was 302.2 and once upon a time I was 402. So I do understand.

No matter who you are, what you weigh, what your goal is, you are a human being with feelings. HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Dont forget PP to take fat grams into the equation. Your caloric goal is awesome so now figure out what you want your fat intake to be. I recommend (and I am so not a qualified expert) no more than 30-35 grams daily. Watch the fat grams and see if that helps today.

can I join,
I am trying to get off my diabetes,BP and cholesterol meds.
I did an experiment 6 mths ago I became a pescitarian( vegetarian plus seafood ) for 3 mths.I lost 21lbs my blood pressure went down my cholesterol went from 225 to 145 and my ACthingy went from 7.4 to 6.7.
Then I went off it for 3 mths my blood pressure is elevated again , my cholesterol is at 175 and my AC thingy went right back to where it was.And I gained 6lbs

So I am now cutting out seafood and going vegetarian and in addition this time I am cutting back on my dairy consumption except my eggs. And I don't eat processed food. So basically I guess you would call it ovo-vegan.

This is what works for me mainly because as a kid I was a vegetarian, my mother would make me sit at the table for hrs because I wouldn't eat meat.I wouldn't suggest this for people who love meat because depriving yourself something you love never works.

I'm 47
5'1"
and 212 lbs
I don't care much about weight

I have a lot of muscle even though I weigh that much I am in a 15-16 my goal is to be a size 8
edited for spelling

I just had to post this one....thought I would fall off the sofa laughing.

Last night there was a commercial for the Taco-Bell Drive Through Diet!! A woman swears she lost some crazy amount of weight eating at Taco Bell. Now, I will buy the Subway guys story but Taco-Bell? Nope.

Egads!

as a pescitarian (I didn't know that was even a WORD!), I could lose a LOT of weight at taco bell... if all I could eat was taco Bell, I'd probably starve to death, or die of malnutrition from cheese and shredded lettuce! This morning I ate a bowl of wheat chex (kind of gross) and 2 mini bagels with cream cheese... i should've just had one, but I made one for DH, and then he didn't want it... so what was I to do? all warm and melty? so I ate it. going to do better for lunch, and maybe cook up something super healthy for dinner.. like tofu salad...or lentil soup..

I've been eating an English muffin with crunchy peanut butter and sliced bananas on it for breakfast and coffee. A light yogurt with orange juice for a snack with my vitamins and try to eat light with portion control for supper. I made it through another night at the restaurant without soda. Drank iced green/mint tea with a bit of honey and left the sweet rolls in the break room alone. Can't tell you how my sweet tooth is begging for those!! I'm only weighing in every Saturday, so as not to be too obsessive about this!

As long as your laughing with me LOL

I did the calorie counting before because I'm goin to be honest I like to eat and have to have my mexican once a week.LOL so I never did pay attention to the fat intake. I lost from 208 to 185 in a couple months just doing that no exercising or anything Eating a honey bun for breakfast, still eating out (which we do alot of) I ate most of my calories during the day in the week and didn't eat much of the afternoon. Then the weekends I'm bad about only eating once a day so I ate all my calories normally in one meal..LOL I kept the weight off too after i stopped. I can eat about 2000- 2100 calories a day to maintain my weight. Big dummy me got some diet pills and tried them about a month ago and I couldn't stand the way they made me feel, so I quit and guess what they messed me up and I started gaining so I gotta get my metabolsim back right..

Im thinkin of getting a wii and the wii fit bundle to start doin also

you might also want to consider getting dance dance revolution or a similar game (I believe they are coming out with a wii version soon) I personally find it to be a lot more fun and it is still excercise.
