LOL well, apple cider vinegar is apples that have gone bad TWICE, so what else could go wrong? Seriously, vinegar is used as a preservative. I've had bottles of various vinegars around for years in some cases. Some of the nutrients might degrade over time.

hehe yea I had a feeling I was asking a stupid question but I'm new to the earth and kinda green behind the ears apparently. The lady I got it from said something about not making big batches at a time due to yadda yadda something... I swear I'm never going back to that chick.

Try your local health foods stores. That's where I got my Braggs.
Yes Whole Foods carries Braggs ACV!
Also in Regards to DE
I moved to an older neighborhood in MO and discovered there is a very bad flea, ant and roach problem.
When I first got my chickens in their coop....... I would clean it twice a week. I would see a good hundred ants if not more and at leat 15-20 roaches. It just grossed me out. I know we have a flea problem because about every 25 days my dogs start to itch and I know it is time to get the flea medication for the dogs. Any way............................ I started using DE in the coop and the next time I cleaned it (due to rainy weather) it had been a good 8 days. I saw only 2 roaches and maybe 15 ants. I was totally amazed at the difference. AND......... there was hardly any smell. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know use it all the time in my coop and when I move my run I sprinkle it to keep the flies down. I hardly ever even see flies around the coop. Its wonderful!
Yep I am addicted too it. Couple tea spoons in a glass of water with some honey or maple syrup. Very health and refreshing and delicious beverage.. (For me!) Good for the chicken water too.
I now give the children spray bottles with ACV diluted in them to spray around the yard and chickens. Halved the flys and got rid of the smell its awsum stuff
I make kombucha which is similar to acv. I haven't given kombucha or acv to my girls. I like to make kombucha cause it's easy and cheap to make and one doesn't need a press and other stuff like one would need for acv. It helps with my mild acid reflux. I make mine very sour, more than most would like I think. It looks like acv and reg vinager are easy to make, I think I'll try make some acv but I don't have a press yet. According to this web site ACV has bacteria and kombucha has both bacteria and yeast. Yeast isn't good for waterfowl is it? That's why I have never given em kombucka.
