When it got real hot last week I was down to a couple a day, but the cooler weather has got them back on task!

My RIR was singing the egg song yesterday & I got sooooo excited. But no egg. The other girls were hanging out just outside the nest box with the funniest looks on their faces, like "what's up with her??!!!"

Chook is just another word for chicken.

My other red bird laid an egg today. Completely different color egg! I had a nice dark brown egg and a little light brown egg in the box today. The birds look identical "scratches head"
