Do you sell hatching eggs? I would be interested in some in a while, after the current incubation is done.

I don't. These are my first Issabelle leghorn eggs. They are a friend of mine, Buddy Henry's birds and he sells them on his website. Look up Backwoods Poultry Farm. There is info and a pay-pal button on the bottom of the page.

LOL I was amazed as well, and I actually fit THREE emu eggs in the Brinsea,(and had room for one more, so it can hold 4 emu eggs). LOL. I wonder if an ostrich egg could fit in there....

You should never have shared this information with me. I use the same Brinsea. My wheels are turning now.....surely we have room for an emu...

I really do want to expand our flock to other kinds of birds. Probably not emus...probably something smaller...I just can't decide what to get!

Well, I was going to wait a little bit before doing another hatch as I just hatched out eight Faverolles chicks a few days ago but I found two dozen Barred Rock hatching eggs on Craigslist for next to nothing and I just had to get them.

I ordered another dozen Faverolles eggs to go with them from a breeder on ebay. They should arrive in the mail Thursday. I'll probably set on Thursday night before I go to bed and not do the Easter Hatch-A-Long. Some of the Barred Rock eggs are two weeks old now so I'd like to put them in the incubator as soon as possible.

Set eggs 8 BLRW on the 21st. Using a genesis incubator for my very first hatch! Anxiously awaiting the first candle... No stinkers so far!

I have Lavendar O hens crossed with a really freaky cool orpington roo... eggs are set to hatch as of this morning. Tomorrow... we move our 3rd batch of ostrich eggs to the hatcher... dun dun dunnnnnn :D I'll upload pics as soon as they start popping out.
