Are my runner and Cayuga male or female?

I got rid of my big 4 drakes this summer and traded for 4 small call drakes and 2 hens, a 3 month old Muscovy and 3 month old dark Khaki Campbell. I am hoping this will help my flock in the spring. I will have 9 big hens and 4 little drakes and a Mallard/Rouen Drake that is not very big either. I hope you can get your Hens soon. I was lucky to find someone on Craigslist here in Ohio that had the young Call drakes and the hens and would take my 4 very large drakes off of my hands.

the ones that sound like they are short of deeply chirping that's a male sound right??? I have 2 ducks I got as ducklings this spring but they both honk and sometimes loudly click one really does the clicking sound when happy I think they are both female because they are pretty loud. So happy the man is going to get you females at least he did the right thing!!

My Males always gave themselves away with a loud whistle at times. As soon as I heard that I knew I had a drake somewhere. They only did it when they started to get their voices and then I would never hear it again. I hope that yours are Hens for you.

These two are loud and all the time LOL they make a quack quack and one sounds like a very loud laugh we always joke that Dre thinks I'm funny (the white one) I am glad we live in the country with how loud the ducks are and then add the chickens in when they decide to register complaints!!

No curls on the tails! I have heard that not all of the Drakes have the curl (not sure) but these two are pretty loud so If I understand correctly the boys are a bit quieter
My little Call Ducks I got a couple of months ago are all drakes. They chatter their heads off but make no noise compared to my 9 bigger Hens. My one Khaki Campbell could wake the whole neighborhood up with her Quack, LOL.

That's how mine are they are so loud!! From what I have looked up the boys have more of a quiet almost rasping chatter. My Runner duck does chatter almost sounds like loud clicking when she wants something but if you take to long it quickly turns to QUACK QUACK!! LOL

Hello! Not all drakes have the curled drake feather. I have two that do not have it. The best way of sexing is by their quack. Drakes are a raspy lower quack where females have more of a honking loud quack.
