Hey guys! I found this lady online ( I know. Insert eye roll) and she advertised that she had a ton of EEs that hatched around 4/20 (she was unsure of the date) So I go to her place to pick them out. There’s literally HUNDREDS of baby chicks there. And then she’s like “oh there’s probably some OEs in there too. I’m not sure who the parents are.” At this point I’m like give them all to me because im saving them from this place lol. So I took home 7. Now I find her Advertising the same bucket I picked mine from as a “barnyard mix” of cuckoo Marans and EEs and OEs and something else. So I don’t even know what I have. Could you tell possible breeds from these photos? I have a side and top view of each chick. I’m sure they’re all some sort of mixes. Yikes. And some of them are superrrrr
tiny. So possibly a bantam mix?

Thanks so much for your help!!

You have mixes of what ever birds she has running around.
Some may lay colored eggs.
You will have to wait and see.

The ones with puffy cheeks are probably Ameraucana mixes, which will give your either EE or OEs. The one with feathered legs is probably a a marans cross so hopefully OE. When their combs start to develop, the ones with pea combs are likely EE or OE. Good luck with your adorable chicks!

Technically an easter egger IS a barnyard mix. An easter egger is a mix that carries a blue egg gene. Not all easter eggers will lay blue or green or even have muffs.
Call them easter eggers if you want or call them barnyard mixes. I guarantee that you will love them whatever you call them.
I already love the little poopers. Hence why I’m not selling them lol. I’m just a little upset I probably won’t get My well colored egg basket BUT only time will tell!!
