Can’t thank you enough for the puppy pad, shavings combo idea. It has saved my butt! Brooding the emus has been a breeze because of this. Ideally, they would be out in a barn or something of that nature, but hand raising and spending time with them is much better inside the cabin. Once they’re all done hatching, there’s leftovers for next season.

Puppy pads may not be the most environmentally friendly but im all about easy and disposable! I have waterproof reusable pads for Guinea pigs but they get soooo yucky that I usually just order and replace with new…..too much human laundry to doMore good ideas!
