Well, I have enough chickens for myself. But.....Ace Hardware is getting in silkies on Friday!!!! I will be picking up 2 of them for a gift for my neighbor. Can't wait!!!

Ohh Jess it is fairly terrible around here. I discovered 2 more chicks outside with the eye infection.

I am beside myself. I'm not even going to describe what is up with blinky - it is far too gross. I had her outside over the garbage can ready to cull her and she twitched/perked up and I couldn't do it.

One more of the app spitz has a weepy eye and one of the packing peanuts ( barred rock I think) has it in both eyes.

I cannot freak'n believe this is happening.

Sonoran Silkies is going to hook me up with some Oxine tomorrow & Pastry has been giving me counseling as well.

This really sux!

I was just at the vet today putting my old cat down. She was having continuous seizures due to kidney failure.

Mikey, I agree with Becky, take one to the vet. At least you'll know and you'll feel like you've done all you can.

Mikey- maybe get some stronger antibotics, Does any one in the valley have some denagard mikey can use. Kev is going to order some oxine and I think it is a great thing to have on hand. If you order 4 or more you get it cheaper from revival, maybe you should order some and find two other people that need some.
