There are 2 feed stores that i can think of off the top of my head that sell chicks, but they don't have a wide selection, they are often out of stock, and they won't take hens back if they start crowing one morning. being in a community with close neighbors and an HOA, i'm not willing to risk that. I'm placing an order with mypetchicken.com. they only hatch on certain days, and guarantee that they will be here by the time you get home on thursday. you also don't have to buy 25 at a time. their minimum is 3 which is great because i only want 5.
